For parents - FAQ

My child has nut allergies. Should I send them to camp?

Safety First… some of our staff have CPR qualifications and Epi-pen training. However, lunches come from home, and while we do our best to ensure that Youth Camp is Nut-free, of course we cannot guarantee this 100%. We do request all campers and volunteers bring NUT FREE lunches and snacks.

I have 4 children attending camp. Are there discounts available?

YES! WE are offering a $20 discount to the 3rd and following children attending camp from the same family. This includes children’s day-camp and youth camp.

Can my friend or relative pick up my child from camp?

If you are planning to have anyone other than those you have authorized on your registration form pick up your child, please provide a written note outlining the person’s relationship to you and their full name, along with your signature.

If my child has to miss a day at camp or arrive late/leave early who do I contact?

Please be sure to notify us by calling the Willow Creek church office at (705) 721-9536 ext. 30 and leaving a message for Pastor William Walker with details.

This is my child's first camp experience. What can they expect from a week at camp?

Our goal is to make every young person’s camp experience a life-long memory. Our friendly staff will help your child fit in where they are most comfortable and encourage them in team building exercises, games, group activities, and more.

How are behavioral issues handled?

We believe that within each and every young person there is a heart that longs to love and be loved in return. In the event that a behavioral issue does arise, our experienced staff will be equipped to properly evaluate and handle such situations in a professional manner. Additionally, it is our commitment to yours and every other child at youth camp to continually provide positive reinforcement in affirming each young person of their potential and that they are loved by God.
